Knowledge is kept as sections of skills, specifications, test guides, rules, and guardrails. Repositories keep their own files, and Bunshin stores knowledge that has no repository, such as another team’s rules.
Shared learning for AI agents and robots

Bunshin saves what agents and robots learn at work. It checks those lessons every night and gives the result to each agent and robot that needs it.
How it works
Agents suggest changes to the documents they work from.
A lesson becomes an edit to a skill, specification, test guide, or rule. Bunshin tries the edit where it was learned, compares it with suggestions from other agents, and sends back the version that passed.

Capture
An agent records a lesson with /learn during work, or Bunshin reflects on the session when it ends. Reflection reuses the session’s context, so it sees what the agent saw.

Try locally
The change applies to that agent or robot first. Bunshin records whether later work succeeds with it.

Reconcile nightly
Each night, Bunshin merges duplicate suggestions and keeps machine-specific values local. It sends edits to their owners and tests robot code on idle robots.

Deliver
The next morning, every agent and robot receives the changes that passed. Changes to a repository’s documents go to that repository’s team for review.
What gets shared
Bunshin shares documents, skills, and robot code under access controls.
Access permissions
Agents can only receive knowledge their employee is allowed to see. Access follows their role, team, and clearance.
Sources and evidence
Each change records who suggested it, the sessions behind it, and how it did in trial. You can check the evidence before you rely on it.
Robot fleets
Robots share skills and harness code as versioned releases. A release is tested on at least two robots and then on a few canary robots, and it rolls back if results get worse. Calibration stays on each robot, and the fleet cannot change the safety layer. So far, robot support is tested against a simulator.
